What is a ceramic coat?

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that, when applied to a surface like a car’s paint, chemically bonds to create a hard, durable, and long-lasting protective layer. This layer forms a hydrophobic barrier that repels water, dirt, and contaminants, while also providing resistance to UV radiation, chemical stains, and minor scratches.  Visually you will notice improved depth of gloss to the paintwork and clarity and cleaning of the vehicle is made much easier, our proven ceramic coats provide up to 5 years protection.

On-Site / Mobile Service

Initial vehicle detailing and prep work is carried out in a controlled environment at our site on Glenda Drive or your address. The ceramic coating application is always carried out at your location with a 48 hour cure time after. To ensure the best results, the following are required:

• Access to power and water
• An enclosed garage or dust-free indoor space. This is essential, as the coating needs a clean, controlled environment for application and must cure for at least 48 hours before the vehicle is driven

Our Process

Once you have enquired about your ceramic coating service, here’s what you can expect:

1. Initial Consultation: We’ll contact you to discuss your vehicle and expectations, this will almost always include a visual inspection of your vehicle to assess condition.

2. Preparation: The most crucial part of any ceramic coat application, the product’s performance and longevity is only as good as the canvas it is being applied to. Once a ceramic coat is applied, any existing paint imperfections are sealed in. That’s why we work with you to assess your vehicle’s condition and your expectations.  We perform a full exterior detail, paint decontamination and a single stage polish. Your clear coat must be free of any microscopic contaminants / chemicals to ensure the ceramic coat adhesion. 

3. Paint Correction: Depending on vehicle age/usage, further paint correction work may be required. This will be discussed and charged accordingly.

4. Coating Application: The ceramic coat is meticulously applied in an indoor environment at your property and will need to remain indoors for up to 48 hours while the product cures.

5. An after care maintenance kit / warranty certificate is also provided with this service.

Care Tips

To maintain your ceramic coating and keep your car looking its best:

• Always wash in the shade, on cool paint—never in direct sunlight.
• Rinse the entire vehicle thoroughly before washing.
• Rinse again after washing, and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
• Never let tap water, detergents, drive-through car wash water, or bore water dry on the surface.
• Wash and dry the roof and bonnet first, then move to the sides and rear to minimize water spotting.
